Pink or blue… we love you! Learning the gender of your baby is always an unforgettable experience and one you will likely want to share with all of your family and close friends! You’ll love these creative gender reveal ideas.
In the world of technology and social media, creative gender reveal ideas have been on the rise. Many parents are even opting to throw huge gender reveal parties to announce the gender of their new bundle of joy.
Gender reveal parties are typically just a party to let everyone know the sex of the baby, and participants are not expected nor required to bring a gift. Parents can either decide to find out the gender beforehand or let it be a surprise to both them and their guests.
Many new parents are actually encouraging the party participants to join in on the reveal in creative ways, such as by throwing balloons filled with paint at the new parents or biting into delicious pink or blue filled cupcakes at the same time.
When you get your ultrasound or blood work that will reveal the gender, don’t open it right away! Simply tell your health care provider that you want it written on a piece of paper and inside a sealed envelope.
Don’t peak, or you’ll ruin the big reveal! Now bring that envelope to the baker, a friend, or clerk at the store that you’re getting your gender reveal surprise made. They will do their best not to spill the beans.

This is a neat idea called Beat The Bomb. Based in Brooklyn, it’s a real-life video game experience where groups of 2-6 players play five different games.

I got to personally be there to witness this gorgeous and creative gender reveal. It was magical!
You may only be able to get fireworks in gold/blue or gold/pink. Although we were expecting the fireworks to be all blue or all pink, we were told that this wasn’t an option.
However, the blue on the tips of the fireworks were easily identifiable to reveal the gender for the happy couple.
Note: These fireworks were set off over water with no forest (or trees) in sight! Please be careful when using fireworks or explosives as we don’t want another wildfire caused by a gender reveal!
26. Water Hose Shoot from a Fire Boat
One of the most unique gender reveal ideas that I’ve seen are these water canons shooting from a boat on the Hudson River.
This couple got an FDNY ship to set off their water hoses with pink or blue coloring for a jaw dropping gender reveal! I would have loved to be there to see this in real life! How exciting.
27. Greetable Photo Box

This exciting moment deserves an exciting reveal. Tell your faraway loved ones about your upcoming addition with these incredible precious designs for a boy or a girl!
