Fantasy baseball's Week 15 starts out slow, with only three games on Monday. Don't worry, it gets much more exciting as Major League Baseball celebrates the Fourth of July with a rare 15-game Thursday slate. The six teams in action on Monday are all scheduled for seven games, with the remaining 24 clubs each playing a half dozen contests.
The Colorado Rockies are one of the teams with a full septet ahead -- and they'll be at home all week long. Talk about fireworks! The Rockies welcome the Milwaukee Brewers to Coors Field for an early week four-game set, followed by a weekend interleague series with the Kansas City Royals.
The Washington Nationals also have seven home games on tap for Week 15, and will kick off the Fourth of July schedule early with an 11:05 a.m. ET start against the New York Mets. The Mets are currently the league's top road offense and they'll be put to the test in a week with seven games away from Citi Field. "Flushing's Finest" begin July with that four-game series in the nation's capital against the Nationals before heading to the Steel City for a weekend set with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The week's marquee matchup involves the Seattle Mariners entertaining the Baltimore Orioles for three games beginning Tuesday. The AL East and AL West are currently the two tightest races, and both of those teams are right in the thick of things. Meanwhile, the Senior Circuit offers up a weekend encounter between a pair of first-place squads with the Brewers visiting the Los Angeles Dodgers.
