Epsom salt is not actually salt, but a naturally occurring pure mineral compound and has countless beneficial properties. The Epsom salts are known to relieve pain – it's great for athlete's foot, removing splinters, soothing sprains and bruises, and easing the discomfort of gout. Of course, a good food soak will soften your skin and soothe achy feet, too. Be sure to use pure essential oils. They are a little more expensive, but it is worth it. Don't worry – one bottle will last a long time!
